Aside from being more spacious and brighter than the pictures showcased, the home was full of amenities and features any family would hope for. From puzzles, kiddie toys, books to cozy throw blankets, an espresso maker and an array of dishware for all occasions, Scott's home is full of the comforts of home. Even when we hit a technical issue entering the home one afternoon, Scott responded promptly and has us through the door within 5 minutes. I couldn't recommend this home more. "We loved our stay at Scott’s place at 99 South Village.
The short walk to the beach was better and easier than expected. The cleanliness of the home, and every kitchen utensil or beach item you could ever need was available for use. Binders with information and pictures for all amenities with local recommendations depending on how long your length of stay is. But on top of the detailed binders, Scott was completely responsive within the hour of any message sent. The serene back yard with fire pit, outdoor shower, grill, patio, outdoor shower, and lush manicured lawn and landscaping made us never want to leave the home unless we went to the beach.
Would highly recommend and hope to have return vacations here of our own in the future!"

This home was even better than described, as Scott even offered us more accommodations to help us out with our two kids under two! The amenities are a treat, with espresso in the mornings and an outdoor gas fireplace at night. The home is packed with great entertainment, including board games, books, corn hole, bocce, roku, and so much more. The location is just right. Peaceful, and just a quarter mile walk to a beautiful local beach and one mile from West Dennis Beach. It was the perfect family getaway, and we hope to return!"

I have never stayed at a rental that was accommodating in every detail like this one. Scott takes great care in setting up his guests to maximize every aspect of cape cod living. From a detailed binder of what the Cape has to offer, to a shed full of goodies tailor made for beach fun, not a detail is missed by this host. As a family of first timers to the Cape we couldn't have been more happy with our stay here. We plan on making this a routine trip for our family and are looking forward to many more summer stays here at this home!"

"Stayed at Scott's for a very short getaway. The three of us had more space than we knew what to do with, and far too little time to take advantage of all the amenities. The cottage was immaculately clean. There were fresh towels/linens and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you could think of.
Shoutout to Scott for being so hospitable and a host that actually let us enjoy our vacation. No laundry list of cleaning chores at checkout or silly requirement that we bring our own bedding, which has become more commonplace on Airbnb these days!
The cottage was not too far out on the Cape, which was nice coming in from Boston. It was also only an hour away from tippy top of P-town which made for a great day trip.
No fault on the host, but we saw quite a few signs and paraphernalia of a certain political flavor around the neighborhood and outside the home directly in front of the cottage that felt unwelcoming. I wouldn't let it define the town or your vacation, but it was worth noting."

"Scott's place is absolutely as advertised. It's in exceptional condition, with plenty of space and very nice finishings. Perhaps the best part though, is all the beach and recreational equipment available for use - if anything the listing undersells all that's there. I can't stress enough how helpful having the beach wagon, umbrella, toys and other equipment were to us as a family visiting by air, as well as the many activities for the backyard. We were also especially appreciative of the high chair and pack and play for our little one, more things we didn't have to bring with us. And again the quality of all this equipment was excellent. The outdoor shower and fire pit were great, too. Scott was a great host, providing a literal encyclopedia of tips for the area. Long story short, this is a great place we'd happily return to."

The place is even better than the pictures. It is so close to a South Village Beach (we really enjoy a quick walk to the beach) and is close to many restaurants. "We can’t say enough about our stay. We are so grateful for our time spent, the many memories, and Scott’s hospitality - he truly thought of everything and the house felt like home. He was accommodating of our toddler’s nap schedules for check/in and check-out (when possible - which was a sanity savior!) and answered our questions quickly throughout the weekend via text.
But most importantly, the home was comfortable, clean, and in a wonderful location. We loved waking up, having a lazy morning in the yard and biking to the beach with our toddler.
And it was 2-year-old approved! He cried when we left and still asks to go back to his “cation” house almost every day. He loved the “toy shed” out back and enjoyed choosing new toys to bring to the beach. Such a fun feature!
We loved our late night fires, dinners on the patio, and traveling to all the local beaches. We could’ve spent months there and still wouldn’t have wanted to leave.
It was just the reset our family needed and we hope to make it back there someday soon!

"Scott's house is so well laid out and updated, perfect beachy get away. We have a (very busy) 15 month old, and can confirm this house is perfect for kids. We were able to relax and know that he wasn't going to destroy anything. Scott also provided a pack n play and a high chair making packing that much easier for us. If you are looking to travel with a group, there is also plenty of comfortable sleeping quarters and the second bathroom would be a big plus. The outdoor space is also beautiful and the walk to the beach is relaxing."

"The house was the perfect place to spend a long weekend. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and basic spices and kitchen supplies, and we enjoyed cooking at the house every night. “A group of three of us shared this beautiful home for Friendsgiving and had a great time. The house is fully furnished, 5 beds, two bathrooms and an outdoor shower that we didn't get a chance to use but wished we did. The house has everything you need from the kitchen, living room, and outdoors. We cooked every meal during our 10 day stay except for 1 and had everything we needed while we worked remotely and a couple of days to venture out to the local beaches and towns. Wish we could have used the fire pit, outdoor shower, and outdoor seating, but perhaps in warmer times. We had everything we needed. All the small to big details were covered including the hosts responsiveness and check-in to see if all was well. We highly recommend this beautiful Cape Cod house gateway."

"This is a beautiful cottage in pristine condition, extremely well-appointed and convenient to most of the fun you’ll want to have in the mid-Cape. Scott is a wonderful host, with great recommendations. We had several great days at Mayflower Beach, now our favorite beach on the East Coast, and several great meals at Kream ‘n Kone. The cottage’s kitchen has everything you need to cook a good meal, and there are many thoughtful touches that make it feel less like a vacation rental and more like you’re crashing at your friend’s beach house. The beds are comfortable, as is the living room, and the shed in the backyard is stocked with everything you’ll need for your beach day (bring your own shade, though). We couldn’t recommend this listing more highly!"

The location is great, walking distance to a small beach, South Village, and that was extremely convenient. A very quick drive to West Dennis Beach which you can drive right up to the sand. "Family of 5 had a nice stay here. The property is in a great quiet location and has a private back yard. Walkable to a nice little beach & river even though we spent most of our time on the Bayside (Mayflower & Corporation). The home was recently renovated and everything was clean and in great shape. There was enough space for our 3 little ones to sprawl out and play. The AC was key for us during the night. The TV is a little small if that is important to you but we didn't watch it much. Scott quickly answered any pre-booking question I had and we did not need to contact him during our stay."
